This one day course, for Therapists and Medical Practitioners, looks at Trigger Point Therapy (TPT), a course where there is no need for you to be needled. Using the non-invasive approach to Trigger Point Acupuncture (TPA), hands on, electrical and laser stimulation techniques. The clinical knowledge gained can be used for the needling of appropriate patients acupoints by those already qualified to needle.

Non-invasive Acupuncture approaches to de-activate Trigger Points
|
With detailed colour notes to assist course participants with area location. This is a one day intermediate training course and forms one day of our Acute Pain & Sports Injuries (ASI) Modules. This day covers Trigger Point Therapy. The theories behind trigger points, myofascial pain syndrome and fibromyalgia are covered, and how the western concept of trigger points relates to traditional acupuncture points. A course where you don’t have to needle or be needled.
Includes practical location and de-activation of trigger points, using acupressure in combination with essential oils, low level laser and electrical stimulation.
