HOME ACUPRESSURE TRAINING COURSE
This is a Non-Therapist day course. The day provides information on acupressure techniques that anyone can use to treat themselves for a variety of conditions at home.
Self help and self treatment can complement other treatments patients are receiving. Acupressure can also be useful for prevention, before the onset of such conditions as hay fever or sinusitis
This acupressure training course is for those with an interest in using Acupressure for home use only. No previous experience is required. Being painless and non-invasive, Acupressure is an ideal home treatment modality.

All courses are tailored to suit the individual needs of those attending and have a balance of theory and practical with comprehensive course notes.

Content:
This course assumes no previous knowledge of acupuncture, acupressure or the study of anatomy and physiology. This is a course for the Home User and introduces you to the principles of acupuncture, providing you with the skills necessary to use non-invasive techniques to treat a variety of common conditions, including pain, headaches, hayfever and sinusitis.
Research has shown that non-invasive methods of stimulating acupuncture points can be just as effective as inserting needles. Two types of acupressure massage are taught, together with electrical point finding and the use of electrical and laser stimulation.
Acupressure can be used as a stand alone therapy or in combination with other treatment modalities you may be receiving.
