No previous knowledge of acupuncture points is required. This acupressure course introduces you to the principles of acupuncture and provides you with the skills necessary to use non-invasive techniques for acute and chronic musculo-skeletal and pain conditions, hayfever and sinusitis.

Traditional Acupuncture Needling (Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM)
For training in Traditional Acupuncture needling, there is no short cut. TCM Acupuncture needling can only be learned from a long course, provided by an appropriate training establishment.
TCM is different from the Western Medical Acupuncture approach, but work well together.

Acupressure training is an ideal course for therapists working in palliative care, or with patients contra-indicated to needling, also for those therapists & medical practitioners who have an interest in complementary medicine.

Two types of acupressure are taught: massage and energy balancing. Also covered during this course is the use of low level laser. Acupressure can be used as a stand alone therapy or in combination with needling techniques, massage, or other treatment modalities.
