Exercises that can be carried out at home help to increase mobility, strength and co-ordination, and some can relieve pain. Good posture helps to relieve pain and maintain a healthy body.

Linda is a Chartered Physiotherapist based in Chineham/Lychpit, Basingstoke. She has studied both orthodox and complementary medicine enabling her to provide an improved and holistic service for her patients. Linda introduced Backschools and Acupuncture into the Physiotherapy Department at Basingstoke Hospital, where she managed the Out-Patient Physiotherapy Service before leaving the NHS in 1990 to take up full time private practice. Linda has been a member of the Manipulation and Acupuncture Associations of Chartered Physiotherapists and has taught acupuncture and acupressure techniques to doctors & therapists for over twenty three years.
Linda has also written two books on back pain and spoken at international conferences on subjects relating to back pain and acupuncture.
