Back To Work - David & Linda Tagg History.

- Very much involved in preventive medicine, Back To Work was formed by David and Linda, as a partnership, in 1984-5 and is registered as a trade mark for education services relating to care of the back, providing a therapy clinic, therapy training, and effective quality health care products.
- For many years they have specialized in aspects of acupuncture, back pain, back care, first aid and general health care training, employing an ergonomic and holistic approach, helping to avoid health problems and to ease them. Health Authorities, Private Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes and therapists have featured among their many clients within the caring professions.
- They believe in prevention being better than cure, promoting proven quality products.
Linda Tagg Grad. Dip. Phys., M.C.S.P., S.R.P., M.M.A.C.P. Chartered Physiotherapist.
- Linda qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1976, a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and a State Registered Physiotherapist (SRP).
- Over the years she has undertaken Continual Professional Development (CPD) in both orthodox and complementary medicine to enable her to provide an improved service for her patients.
- Linda introduced Backschools, in 1981, and acupuncture, in 1982, into the OutPatient Physiotherapy Department at the District Hospital in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
- As Superintendent Physiotherapist, Linda managed that department until leaving the National Health Service (NHS) in 1990.
- The provision of private Physiotherapy treatments began at the request of Consultants working with Linda at the Basingstoke Hospital.
- To April 2006 Linda had been a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (M.A.C.P.) and an advanced member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (A.A.C.P.) for many years

David Tagg SP.Dip.A and holder of a VMSM*,
- Aromatherapist and First Aid Tutor.
- Starting as a British Red Cross Society (BRCS) Cadet at the age of 14 years, later becoming a BRCS First Aid Instructor on Health & Safety at Work First Aid Courses. David has been involved in First Aid and Health Care most of his life.
- Following a career in retail management David spent eight years with Hampshire Ambulance Service undertaking emergency work, becoming a Licentiate of the Ambulance Service Institute (LASI).
- On leaving the Ambulance Service he took up post as a Senior Residential Care Officer with Hampshire County Council, Social Service Department, working at a residential home for the elderly.
- In 1989 he gained his diploma (SP.Dip.A) in Aromatherapy with the Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy (SPICA), when Shirley and Len Price were the inspirational owners of SPICA. Qualified as an active member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA), also being previously active within the then Aromatherapy Organizations Council (AOC). In these organizations the involvement was in promoting the professionalism of properly trained therapists.
- As a qualified Aromatherapist David has been a member of the IFPA Council and, prior to the IFPA, the ISPA Executive Committee, serving on an AOC (now known as the Aromatherapy Council) sub-commitee, , .
- He is very conscious of the need to use gentle products for maximum skin care and health promotion and also presents a real world Emergency First Aid seminar.

- Since 1981 David and Linda have provided Post Graduate training courses for Doctors & Therapists in Back Care and Acupuncture related subjects. Having previously written two books on the subject of back pain, they have been invited to speak at various conferences, on that subject.
- Having trained several thousand practitioners in acupuncture for over 21 years, they reduced their teaching of Invasive Acupuncture within the UK from January 2006. David and Linda continue offering a range of Non-Invasive acupuncture courses within the UK.
- Both Linda and David have been awarded the Voluntary Medical Services Medal (VMSM), the Badge of Honour, and life membership of the British Red Cross Society (BRCS), for the work they carried out within the Society.
- In sourcing practical solutions to their own patients conditions at their clinic, they now offer a developing range of quality products that have been found to be beneficial to their users. A particular focus is the prevention of ill health with natural approaches.
- To 2004 David and Linda were members of National Back Exchange, being founder members in the 1980's of the London Group.
- Having used the Cosmoliva range of Olivellenic olive based soaps and cosmetics for a number of years, David and Linda now bring these wonderful products into the UK from Greece for Gift Shops, Health Shops and Therapy Clinics.
