The BI-O-LAS is an instrument whose construction has been specially thought out to allow it to be used easily and safely even by those medically less well versed. Ideal for patient home treatment use.

The radiation of this Class 3a "Low-Level Laser" (LLL) or "Low Energy Laser" is applied at such a level that it neither warms nor affects human tissue.  It simply causes a "bio-stimulation", i.e. it stimulates the body's own, natural "control circuits" when they are not activated automatically during illness or it strengthens them if they are too ineffective on their own. The BIO-LAS's wavelength is set at such a level that it penetrates the skin and subcutis effectively and gently.  This radiation activates all the body's own functions which accelerate the healing process, by stimulating the propagation of phagocytes and macrophages and by stimulating the production of “endorphins" simultaneously relieving pain.  The Laser thus does not "attack" an illness but simply stimulates the organism, mobilising and intensifying the body's own defence systems, making it suitable for the Professional Therapist or for Patient home use.
