General recommendations about the method of use:

If the symptoms treated with the mini-BI-O-LAS PocketSoftlaser do not gradually disappear or show no signs of improvement despite correct use of the laser light (5-10 times 3 minutes per day at a distance of I cm above the surface of the skin where infection is concerned or directly upon the point to be treated in the case of rheumatic complaints), your local practitioner should be consulted again.

If the doctor's diagnosis confirms one of the stated indications, treatment with the mini- Bi-O-Las PocketSoftlaser can continue without hesitation until the diseased area/ painful symptoms disappear altogether.

Laser Acupuncture (aculaser):
The mini-BI-0-LAS' can also be used to perform stimulation of the acupuncture points, as long as the position and effect of the acupuncture points and meridians are known.  In contrast to its "big brother" BI-O-LAS, the mini-Bi-0-LAS PocketSoftlaser does not have a point-finder system. Ideal for non invasive acupuncture point stimulation of  and acupressure therapists.

Side Effects
International experimental and clinical research has, after decades of work, not been able to find any side effects.  Low level laser (LLL) therapy can therefore be repeated as often as desired.

Interaction
There is no known interaction with other remedies and medicines.

Contraindications
There are no contra-indications if used properly.  The manufacturers state that Low-level laser therapy can also be applied for pregnant women, babies and infants.  However, we must expressly warn against treating babies and infants on the skull, as it is not fully fused together and closed. For this reason, damage resulting from radiation penetrating the skull cannot be fully ruled out.
